Project

As Lebanon prepares for the 2026 parliamentary elections, this project brought together 25 aspiring women candidates and 35 young political actors to rethink how political campaigns are built and experienced. At a time when political debates are increasingly shaped online- often through disinformation, hate speech, and targeted attacks against women- the initiative focused on building confidence, skills, and digital safety. Through hands-on training in inclusive political communication, information verification, and responses to online violence, participants were supported to campaign with clarity, credibility, and courage. The project reflects a simple but powerful belief: a more democratic Lebanon depends on women and youth being visible, protected, and heard in political life.
